CE FAQs
- I cannot log in to register and to apply for CE credits.
- NYSCHA utilizes a third party platform (X-CD) for registration, evaluations, and CE credit. The email and password you use for registration will be the same log in information you use to access the evaluation and credits page.
- What is the deadline for applying for CEs?
- The deadline for applying for credits is usually 3-4 weeks after the conclusion of the Annual Meeting. Everyone applying for credits must complete the learner evaluation for each session they attended prior to this deadline in order to receive credit.
- What is the cost for CE credits? Is it included in the registration fee?
- There is a separate fee for CE credits.
- While some conferences include the CE fee in the registration fee, NYSCHA has chosen to charge an additional fee for CE credits. With a separate fee, only attendees wanting CE credit are paying for the credit.
- I applied for CE credit, but you are not offering the type of credit I need.
- If you applied for credit and then realize we are not offering the type of credit you need, we can refund your CE fee. If you did not apply for CE credits and later decide you would like to receive them, you can edit your registration and upgrade it to include the CE fee.
- When will we know if CEs are being provided for the Annual Meeting?
- We usually receive approvals of our CE application about 4-6 weeks before the Annual Meeting begins. In some cases, approval is received much closer (i.e., 1-2 weeks) to the start date. As soon as we receive the approvals, we add this information to our program schedule, which we post on the website and share with members.
- Why aren't you offering the type of CE credits I need?
- While we would like to offer CE credits for every discipline, we are unable to do so due to the cost and time involved to complete the application process and the post-conference reporting for each type of CE credit.
- What kinds of CEs do you offer?
